Introduction of Ah Koong Restaurant

Ah Koong Restaurant is started in 1987 by Mr Tan Ooi Koong in serving the most authentic fishballs. Mr Tan continues the philosophy of his father, and staying true to retain the recipe of making authentic fishballs only from fresh Wolf-herring fish (locally known as Ikan Parang). In the early years, Ah Koong Restaurant was first opened at Johor Bahru with just only five tables. Today, Ah Koong Restaurant has expanded to a total of six outlets, mainly in Johor Bahru, Kuala Lumpur and Selangor with over hundreds of workers.

Mr Tan strongly uphold the commitment of using the best selected ingredients, as well as providing the highest level of customer service. Therefore, Ah Koong's fishy stuffs are daily made from freshest local Wolf-herring and Yellowtail fish. For quality guaranteed, Ah Koong's fishy stuffs are made and prepared in Ah Koong's factory under strict hygienic condition. The ready-prepared fishy stuffs are then sent to the respective outlets in the shortest time in order to ensure our customers still get to taste the prime top quality of fishy stuffs.

In these few years, Ah Koong's authentic fishballs have attracted many customers from all over the land and have also won the good reputation among them. Hence, we would like to express our gratitude to our loyal customers from their endless support. Ah Koong has specially designed two types of food-freshness packaging: Vacuum Packaging and Seal Packaging due to popular demands of customers for buying Ah Koong's fishy stuffs as their homemade dishes or steamboat ingredients.

Ah Koong's crispy fishcake which has always appealed to many customers is another start of Ah Koong's specialty. Ah Koong's crispy fishcake with all the authentic ingredients has a nice textural treat, with its golden brown surface, decently crispy coating and bouncy centre. A crispy sound escaped from mouth, followed by the wonderful chewy mouth feel with every bite on it. Aside from springy fishballs and crispy fishcakes, Ah Koong Restaurant serves an astonishing array of fishy stuffs and seafood as well as various types of noodles for our customers to make their own choice. Their favourite dishes will be served in a clear soup made from chicken bones and anchovies. Ah Koong's clear soup is cooked for at least 4-5 hours to fully develop the great flavour.

亚坤纯正西刀鱼丸简介

亚坤纯正西刀鱼丸店由陈威群先生创立于一九八七年。他延续了他父亲那不去不饶的精神,继续打造真材实料的西刀鱼丸。当年,“亚坤纯正西刀鱼丸”位于新山的小店铺仅有五张桌子。目前,亚坤已扩展至分布于柔佛与雪隆一带总共六家的专卖店,员工人数共百多位。老板一直秉持着“严选食材,顾客至上”的经营理念,每日特选新鲜上岸的西刀鱼和黄尾鱼,经过工厂的处理后,在最短的时间内运送到专卖店,让顾客享用最新鲜的鱼制美食,是一家符合健康卫生标准的鱼丸加工厂。这些年来,亚坤吸引了许多慕名而来的外地食客,赢得了许多顾客的好口碑,本店非常感谢大家的支持与肯定。为了方便顾客携带亚坤鱼料回家烹煮或作为火锅料理,亚坤也提供了“真空包装”及“封口包装”两种不同的包装式鱼料食品,以满足顾客对食品保鲜的不同要求,使顾客买得安心、吃的开心!

亚坤纯正香脆鱼饼也获得了众多顾客的好评,称得上是亚坤镇店之宝的其中之一!货真料足的亚坤纯正香脆西刀鱼饼色泽金黄,外层香脆,内层鲜嫩;一口咬下,齿颊留香,卡滋卡滋的快感在嘴里不断弹跳。除了弹牙鱼丸与香脆鱼饼外,亚坤也提供了多样化的鱼制品、海鲜类与面类,让大家可随着自己的喜好进行选择与配搭。丰富的食材当然少不了独特的汤头,亚坤的汤头纯以鸡骨与江鱼仔为主材。经过四至五个小时以上的熬煮,汤头更为鲜甜美味。
